Raymond Dyer attended the University of Southern Mississippi from 1990 to 1994. During that time he was a student Athletic Trainer working with the athletic department providing services for all sports, with extensive time spent with the football and track teams.
He graduated with honors in 1994 with a bachelors degree in Health, Human Performance and Recreation, with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. He sat for and passed the NATA Board Examination, becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer.
Raymond then graduated with a master’s degree in physical therapy from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He first practiced physical therapy in Louisville, Mississippi, where he was responsible for the successful startup of a new rural outpatient clinic. He then had an opportunity to move closer to home and spent a year working with Concentra Medical Centers providing industrial/occupational physical therapy services to a multitude of Baton Rouge industries.
Raymond joined the Alliance Therapy team in October of 2000 and was able to purchase the practice from its previous owner due to an early retirement. He has taken extensive Continuing Education including courses on therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, orthopedics, cancer, ASTYM, and Total Motion Release.
